Grandpa, grandpa!
Carmen Gandía Blanque
- Grandpa, grandpa! What a bad head you have!
- It is to recall you better.
The wolf was lying on the bed and was now in the grandfather´s place, he has stolen him everything: the age, the strength, the memory… and even the wish for knowing the girl’s name.
- Shall we go out of here?
(the silence answered in the affirmative).
- Let´s go out then.
She has been taking him toys because the way would be hard for him. Then, observing her as a stranger, the wolf said:
- What happens?
- Nothing, grandfather, nothing.
And the grandfather came back again. He noticed the toys and only wanted one: some little wings of lead that he immediately put on.
He jumped as he could and the little wings put him up, upwards, upwards…Until he was so far away that she could only see his smile.
